Goodwood Revival
Last weekend my Boyfriend and I went to the Goodwood Racecourse for Goodwood Revival which is a vintage car and plane festival with races, shopping and drinking. We got there bright and early to explore and my personal favourites was the Aston Martin display as well as seeing all the old planes including the Spitfire flight.
We spent most the day exploring all the different areas which had American cars, motorbikes and helicopter tours. My favourite part of the day was the shopping including the vintage Tesco which sold food in their old labels, I was especially excited about the Opal Fruits!
Also couldn't resist a trip to the Champagne tent ;)
Will definitely be returning next year hopefully with a bit less wind next time!

Planning For October
So my Mum, Step dad, Boyfriend & I are off to Walt Disneyworld in October for Halloween! I was getting Orlando withdrawals so we all decided it would be te perfect time to go back and visit. We always try and avoid the really kid busy times so we've avoided half term and school vacations. Also I've never been to an American Disney park for Halloween.
We've booked our hotel and after lots of decisions we've decided on Port Orleans Riverside (pictured below) as it was reasonably priced, close to Downtown Disney and looked a lot less "kiddie" than the hotels in the same price bracket. If any readers has stayed there before and have any idea about the rooms please comment as we can't decide between Magnolia Bend Mansion or Alligator Bayou Lodges.
We're obviously planning on spending most of our time in Disney parks along with a visit to Mickey's not so scary Halloween party. But I am also looking into Universals Fright night as my parents haven't been to Universal yet.
The top of my list is the improved Test track, the rest of New Fantasyland and trying to get a reservation at Be Our Guest restaurant (which I've already tried so hoping to get lucky while we're there!).
Of course I've be having a very drunk Sunday evening at the House of Blues and hoping to bump into some of my old co- workers! So excited!

Disneyland In August
I had a trip to LA in August with 2 free days in the middle so the boyfriend decided to come with me to make another trip to Disneyland. We drove straight from the airport to the Ramada at the park in Anaheim. The hotel is in a great location but definitely not the best we've stayed in! We got ready and went straight over to Disneyland and straight for some snacks! We spent the rest of the day checking out the new addition to Indiana Jones and finally going on Space mountain!
Was so good to go with perfect weather and managed to pick up the Enchanted Tiki Room 50th Anniversary cup! We also headed over to California Adventure for Paradsie Pier and Frozen strawberry Margaritas! That evening I finally got to see the Firework display as I always normally pick World of Color, but was so glad I did as it was amazing! Lived the flying Dumbo! After being awake over 23 hours on 3 hours sleep we decided to get an early night so we could enjoy our full day.
The next day we started out in California adventure and the Radiator Springs FastPass was already gone but we did the single riders queue in 15 mins and managed to get on the same car! I really love ride and Cars Land as its been done so well! We went for early lunch at Wine Country Trattoria for snacks and Cocktails, I highly recommended the Piña Colava and the Captains Mai Tai!
We headed back to Disneyland to do some more rides and to pick up the Dumbo popcorn holder I saw on our trip in April! We also managed to see both the parades! We spent the evening back in California Adventure for Cocktails at the Cove Bar on Paradise Pier and then went to the Disneyland hotel for Trader Sams!
Trader Sams is hands down my favourite bar! It's open til late with snacks and the best cocktails! I love the Tiki tiki tiki tiki tiki rum which is coconut and pineapple flavoured. This time we decided to try the Uh oa! which comes in a bowl which they set a flame, it was very tasty and extremely strong!
Had so much fun for the 2 days we were there! The California parks are so much fun and California Adventure is by far my favourite park to drink in (Sorry Epcot!) can't wait for our next Disney Vacation!

Las Vegas June
So back to Las Vegas for a holiday for the second time in 2 months! As I've said previously I'm a complete creature of habit! Of course we stayed at The Wynn once again and probably will for every trip we visit Vegas! This time we made sure we had reservations for Mizumi the Japanese restaurant at The Wynn which always seemed to be fully booked and now I know why! Their food was amazing! We ordered a grill of Prawns, Scallops and Beef along with some Sushi. We also ordered a huge fish bowl cocktail which was intended for 4 to 6 people so suited us just fine!
The rest of trip was spent in bar and Casinos! Of course we went back to Napoleons at the Paris as well as checking out the duelling piano bar in The Encore which was a lot of fun. One of the nights we walked from The Wynn to the New York New York hotel and visited most of the Bars/ Casinos in between. My favourite chain in the States has to be Fat Tuesdays which sells frozen cocktails in huge cups (which are refillable at all their locations) which are very alcoholic! Its also really handy in Vegas as you can drink everywhere and at any time so drunk shopping is always fun!
We're planning another trip for both our birthdays in April!

San Diego & Temecula
Being that it was both of our first times in San Diego we had a long list of to-do's! Our first was of course, the world famous San Diego zoo and seeing the Pandas was the real highlight! The rest of time in San Diego we went to Mission beach, went for drinks in the Gas lamp district and some shopping. My 2 high lights of San Diego was going for dinner at the Hotel Del Coronado which was the backdrop of one of my favourite films Some like it hot. We went to the Sheerwater Restaurant which we both had quite a few cocktails and the best surf and turf I've ever had (pictured below).
The next highlight was the Padres Baseball game at Petco park. We had amazing seats and the Padres won! I'm really starting to like American sports games and there's lots of shouting and drinking :)
After San Diego we headed to Temecula as my godparents have recently moved there! It was only an hour away from San Diego and a nice break before Vegas. As it is Wine country it was of been rude not to go wine tasting, so we went to 3 wineries in one afternoon! We had such a fantastic time and was great to catch up with them! After an afternoon of drinking we went to the old town for Margaritas and dinner! I'm so excited to plan a trip back there with more time!
The next day we drove to Las Vegas!
