Disneyland Paris December 2012

Had such a good trip to Disneyland Paris in December! I went with my boyfriend and it was the first time I've been to the Paris park with him and the 2nd time I went this year. I had a few days off work so we decided to go for some much needed Christmas celebrations as I had to spend Christmas day in Africa for work. 

We flew British Airways and stayed at the Newport Bay hotel; which was lovely and once we arrived my boyfriend decided to give me my Christmas present which was 101 shares in Disneyland Paris! I now technically own part of the resort which is very exciting! Along with owning and receiving dividends form the company I also got a discount card which I can use for park tickets, merchandise, hotel rooms, restaurants etc. Pretty amazing present if you ask me and more of an excuse to go back! 

The parks, as always were so much fun! Went on all our favourite rides and luckily the first 2 days weren't that busy so barely any queuing! Also went to my favourite restaurant, Blue Lagoon! Which has the most amazing food and is inside the Pirates of the Caribbean ride, need I say more?! Also went to the Californian Grill at the Disneyland Hotel which has an incredible view of the main park and had the most amazing meal after cocktails at the Fantasia bar! The highlight was Disney Dreams the night time show and fireworks created by the people that brought us World of Color at California Adventure! It was incredible!

Also as a new shareholder we were able to go into Salon Mickey which is a separate entrance and breakfast area for shareholders. It was a really nice space that had photo's of Walt Disney around and was nice to skip the queue!

I always love visiting a Disney park around the holidays, would love to go to Disneyland California for Christmas! Next Disney park on my list....... Disneyland Tokyo in April with the boyfriend for our birthdays! So excited!

Disneyworld Vacation

Had the most amazing holiday! Me and the boyfriend decided last minute to go to Walt Disneyworld for a week (and a day of Universal) and he had never been before and its always so much fun to take people on their first go! We stayed at a Downtown Disney resort, the Wyndham and it was lovely and nice and close to everything. We hired a convertible Mustang which was gorgeous and spent the whole trip in the parks!

It was so nice to go back and felt like being home again! I managed to bump into some of the people I worked with last year which was lovely and did absolutely everything we wanted to do (except shopping!!). 

Made sure I did all the necessities like getting chilli cheese dog, dole whip and of course attack everything in the bakery on Main Street! Also went to some new places like the T-Rex restaurant at Downtown Disney which had the most amazing food and cocktails! 

Got very drunk on the 2nd night of the holiday at House of Blues and lost my phone :( so did lose a few photos but fortunately got many more which are below!

I can't wait to go back again and had the most amazing time!

I'm Back!

Sorry for the unexpected leave of absence on the blog front but I have been so busy! I had all my coursework due in all the same day for University, my final exams, attended my graduation ball and moved out of my flat in Manchester! I've been home in Essex just over a week and its nice to relax! I decided to take the British Airways job, as much I as miss working for Disney I just feel I would constantly wish I was working back in the park, not on the cruise line.

I had my visa appointment in London on Wednesday and it seemed just yesterday I was there last year getting my Disney visa! I was all approved and now just waiting for my passport to return as I just booked another trip to Disney! But this time back to Walt Disneyworld Florida!!!

I'm so excited! It was such a last minute booking and got an amazing deal to stay at the Wyndham hotel at Lake Buena Vista, so right next to downtown Disney and right around the corner from where I used to live! Me and the boyfriend leave a week today and plan to pack in as much Disney as possible (and a quick trip to Universal as he loves marvel!).

So happy that some of the people I work with will still be there as I miss them all so much!

Yay, All Booked!

Mum just rang me to say she's gone ahead and booked Disneyland Paris for my birthday trip! My mum, step dad & I are going for 4 days from the last Thursday in March. We are going to be staying at the Sequoia Lodge, which I've never stayed in before but looks lovely and I've put some pictures below. We managed to get a great deal by booking through the link I posted about here! 


My step dad only went to a Disney park for the first time this summer, to come visit me in Florida and my Mum hasn't been to Disneyland Paris in years! So much planning to do and something to look forward to! I haven't been to Disneyland Paris in a couple of years but will be so much fun going to park after I've worked in! I'll try my best not to compare as I love each location differently and DLP has the Alice in wonderland maze which isn't at any other park!


There seems to be a lot thats new for next year as its their 20th anniversary! New parade, new lights shows, new meet and greets! I'm so excited!!!! Check out the new online brochure here!
