Nottingham

So we decided to all go Nottingham for Hannah's (friend from Essex) 22nd birthday! We came here previously when we were 18 so was sort of a reunion trip. The weather was not good this weekend, it started snowing the moment I left Manchester and my car looked awful the time in arrived in Nottingham! We stayed at a hotel about 2 miles from the centre and by the time we were all ready to go out the snow was so bad all the taxi's had stopped running! We all put on about 10 layers, snow boots & hats and walked the 2 miles to the club!


I was so happy when we arrived, the bouncers did give us a funny look in our winter wear! We spent the next 20 minutes in the loo getting changed and doing hair & make up! The club was so much fun we got a cake stand of cake flavoured drinks and was lucky enough to have a few bottles of champagne sent over! We had such a good night and was lovely to see the Essex girls again!

What I've Been Up To

Well its been around 2 weeks since I got back from Disneyland Paris for NYE and I'm back in Manchester at University. Its nice to back be up here with my flatmates (pictured above) as we've been going out for meals and planned lots of shopping trips. Unfortunately we all seem to have really bad timetables without the same mornings off so the nights out maybe less frequent :(. 

One more term until my exams and then I'm done for the summer! So far I have 3 holidays booked, lucky me! First off to Disneyland Paris in March/ April for my birthday trip with my Mum & Step Dad. Then off to Spain in late June with my flatmate Sarah as she has a place around 15 minutes from Marbella, so should be a great holiday of partying, drinking and sunbathing. Then 3 weeks l'm off to Ibiza with my friends from Essex! We all went together in 2010 so will be sort of a reunion as we all love it there! Also got to book flights to Ireland in September as my friend who travelled with me after my Disney College program, Ciara, her older sister Niamh is getting married there and I'm very excited as I've never been to Ireland; just hope the weathers nice! My other flatmate Hannah wants us to all go skiing at the end of the year, I've never been before but it sounds like fun to me!

Apart from that just got 1 essay, 1 portfolio and 2 reports to hand in mid March so I'm sure I'll be a hermit crab again from end of February! At least I have lots to look forward to, to get me through!

November

With the end of November fastly approaching I was thinking how much I've done this month! With all the placement meetings and interviews for Disney, Canada and South Carolina! Also been trying to do all my essays and reports for class so I can leave Manchester early to spend more time in Essex over the christmas period. My lovely friend Ciara (who came travelling with me at the end of the Disney Summer program) has booked us in for a 2 night spa stay with treatments! So excited and the place looks amazing you can see it here, its called the Lighthouse spa in Thorpe le soken (which is very close to my house!). Will be really nice to relax and spend some time with one of the besties again!

We are also planning a shopping trip to Westfield shopping centre in London which looks incredible as it has a Forever 21 and a Wagamama along with all my other favourite stores! Still need to book Disneyland Paris for my birthday trip, which I'm very excited about as just found out their new parade should be there by then!

Operation Present

Had to go back home last week as I needed to have my wisdom tooth out, it was coming in the wrong way and gave me trouble all Summer while I was working at Disney! It was finally time to have it out and luckily was able to have it out at hospital as I am petrified of dentists! So I was completely knocked out, had stitches and felt terrible for the next week! The plus side I was waited on hand and foot by my Mum and she got me a lovely "get well soon" present! It was the Jim Shore tradition Alice that I had my eye on which was on the Disney website, Thanks Mum!

Nieces

Just had to post this as I love spending time with my nieces Amelia and Abigail, and they just love make up! Abigail was in her Snow White dress I brought her back from Florida. Amelia had yet to put her Belle dress on yet!

Home Sweet Home

Back home to lovely, rainy England. Its very strange being back after spending the last 4 months in the warmth and my Disney bubble. All I want to do for the first couple of days is sleep and eat proper English food. I'm only in Essex for just over week until I have to go back to Manchester. So I spend the time with my family and friends doing random stuff that I missed doing all summer like seeing my nieces and driving (oh how I missed driving!).

Had a nice night out with the Essex girls which was fun and then just as I unpacked I had to start packing again for University! 

My Friends

I have the greatest friends in Essex and this post is dedicated to them! I've known them all for so long and couldn't ask for better friends to come home to! I decided to compare them to their favourite Disney character or just because they remind me of them! I'm going to miss them very much and hope they all have an amazing summer (without me!). Love you guys.
