Tokyo

Just got back from a rather quick trip to Tokyo! It was my first time there and its safe to say I fell in love! The food, the people and especially the shopping was amazing! I can't wait to go back, which I am in April with my boyfriend for both our birthdays!
Literally only had 30 hours there so got as little sleep as possible and went to explore the Nihonbashi district which included 4 malls and amazing restaurants. Found this great Japanese restaurant at the mall and had a spicy prawn noodle soup which I cant wait to have again. I also managed to track down the Disney store which was incredible, so much better than the European ones! It had so much more adult items and got some great stuff! I was also surprised to see how much Alice in wonderland stuff they had in most stores, so of course I stocked up!

Also as we weren't in Tokyo that long we were flown back in Club world which is definitely the way to travel! Amazing food and a flat bed? I'm flying that way again!

Can't wait to return in April and been researching the Disneyland hotels, thinking of staying at the Disneyland Sea Hotel which is the hotel where you actually stay in the park!

Disneyland Paris December 2012

Had such a good trip to Disneyland Paris in December! I went with my boyfriend and it was the first time I've been to the Paris park with him and the 2nd time I went this year. I had a few days off work so we decided to go for some much needed Christmas celebrations as I had to spend Christmas day in Africa for work.

We flew British Airways and stayed at the Newport Bay hotel; which was lovely and once we arrived my boyfriend decided to give me my Christmas present which was 101 shares in Disneyland Paris! I now technically own part of the resort which is very exciting! Along with owning and receiving dividends form the company I also got a discount card which I can use for park tickets, merchandise, hotel rooms, restaurants etc. Pretty amazing present if you ask me and more of an excuse to go back!

The parks, as always were so much fun! Went on all our favourite rides and luckily the first 2 days weren't that busy so barely any queuing! Also went to my favourite restaurant, Blue Lagoon! Which has the most amazing food and is inside the Pirates of the Caribbean ride, need I say more?! Also went to the Californian Grill at the Disneyland Hotel which has an incredible view of the main park and had the most amazing meal after cocktails at the Fantasia bar! The highlight was Disney Dreams the night time show and fireworks created by the people that brought us World of Color at California Adventure! It was incredible!

Also as a new shareholder we were able to go into Salon Mickey which is a separate entrance and breakfast area for shareholders. It was a really nice space that had photo's of Walt Disney around and was nice to skip the queue!

I always love visiting a Disney park around the holidays, would love to go to Disneyland California for Christmas! Next Disney park on my list....... Disneyland Tokyo in April with the boyfriend for our birthdays! So excited!

Busy At British Airways

Where to start?! Been an incredibly crazy busy few months! I starting my training for British Airways back in October, finishing 6 weeks later as a qualified member of Mixed Fleet. I fly both long and short haul on the Airbus A319, A320 & A321 as well as the Boeing 747 & 777. Unfortunately, I had to have some time off shortly after training so haven't done as many flights as I should! Missed out on a Los Angeles and Las Vegas, but will hopefully be flying there soon!

So far I have flown to (and got off the plane!) at Hamburg and Accra in Ghana, Africa. Tomorrow I am off to Tokyo, but unfortunately I am not there long enough to visit Disneyland Tokyo but the boyfriend and I have decided to go to Tokyo for our birthdays in April so will be visiting very soon!

Also I went to Disneyland Paris (again!) in December and will be updating you all with my visit very shortly! It was a very special trip which I will also explain!

Happy New Year!
